Criss Hochhold is a Nova Scotia Wills and Estates lawyer and Co-Founder of Atlantic Wills, where his practice focuses on Wills, Powers of Attorney, Personal Directives and personal legacy planning. Before becoming a lawyer, Criss spent more than 22 years in law enforcement, including more than 20 years with the RCMP. That experience shaped a practical, detail-oriented approach built around listening carefully, asking the right questions and helping people work through important decisions. Criss believes estate planning should be understandable and approachable. Clients do not need to arrive knowing legal terminology or having every decision already made. He explains the law in plain language, identifies issues they may not have considered and helps clients make informed decisions about their families, property and future wishes. Criss holds an LL.B., LL.M. and MSc., including a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto. Through Atlantic Wills, he works directly with clients throughout Nova Scotia on straightforward estate planning matters.
